Double marathon weekend Part 1
Two marathons in two countries in one weekend? A year ago it was a silly idea, but this weekend it actually happened. Here’s part one.
Me and Katie planned to run Snowdonia and Dublin marathons, supported and assisted by Liz and Phil.
Liz was supposed to take part, but can’t run because of injury. Still she came along to cheer us on because that’s how great a friend she is and how much she loves running – whether it’s her that’s doing it or not. Not many people would stand by the side of a race they were supposed to do and cheer other on, but Liz isn’t most people.
Comedy double act at it’s best…. sure this must be a book, play or film in this somewhere.
