Being the self-titled Lazy Girl, I really shouldn’t be surprised by this but I am. On Saturday I went out for a six mile run, got home, had a bath and then fell asleep for an hour. When I woke up I could hardly move – not through aching muscles but through being zapped of any energy whatsoever.
I spent the rest of Saturday slobbing round the house like a sloth on pot and getting Lazy Boy to bring me cups of tea. I was pleased with my run and felt fine on it so I’ve concluded that I should take it easy this week before my 16-week training plan for the half-marathon begins.
