The last time I did an overseas race it was a half marathon in Bangkok and it’s fair to say I didn’t prepare that thoroughly. With less than two weeks to go until the Venice marathon, and with a PB on my mind, I’m starting to get organised and leave nothing to chance.
Here’s my race packing list for my trip to Venice… am I missing anything? With 10% of Venice currently flooded, maybe I should add a snorkel and flippers.
Do you know you have porridge down twice? It must be extra important! 🙂
Wetwipes = a shower in a bag for after the race.
Anti-chafe stuff (Vaseline/bodyglide etc), plug adaptor and more porridge!
Pants and shorts are different in UK speak, correct? Then I’d also just add some Vaseline. I don’t know about you, but I chafe like a mother… and have the scars to prove it! And an extra pair of compression socks for afterwards!
