Beginners Dumbbell Workout for Running
Week four of filming some home workouts for you and this week’s offering is a Beginners Dumbbell Workout for Running.
You can do it with or without a weight or use something else you have handy. Even a moderate weight will add a little bit more of a challenge when you’re starting out.
Thanks to everyone who has been following the workouts and letting me know how you got on. The first two have now had more than 500 views each which I really didn’t expect. The original idea was to give runners from my groups something to help them during lockdown, but I’m really pleased runners further afield are finding them useful.
The video this week is a 40 minute class, but this involves plenty of rest while I explain the next exercise.
Please do subscribe to my YouTube channel if you find these videos useful. It does give me a little nudge to carry on doing some more.
Other workouts
- Core strength for beginners
- Cardio workout for when you can’t run
