Runners’ Evening Stretch Routine: Hips, Calf and Quads
Wind down and work out tight spots with these stretches for runners. This stretching routine focuses on hips, calf and quads.
I do this most evenings on the floor of my front room while watching TV and that’s what works for me.
My theory that watching The West Wing while stretching will significantly reduce your risk of injury hasn’t yet been peer reviewed, but the anecdotal evidence is pretty strong.
I’m a bit of a magpie when it comes to training. I pick things up from here and there and put them together to work for me. That’s very much how this stretch routine came about. I recommend you find the moves that help you and the issues that you have. There may be some in here you can use.
